Interior Staircase
Concentration on fluidity, naturality. While moving on the staircase you should feel as though you are floating through the space. The inspiration behind this design were the chinese traditional water dancers. The flowing sleeve fit perfectly with what I wanted to achieve with this design. To connect and enhance each level the staircase touches. Using a part of the logo of the company was also a part of the clients wishes.
The office is supposed to be a new HQ for a concrete manufacturing company with a mission to make concrete a sustainable material. The design needed to reflect that. As well as the fluidity and the chinese water dance, we further dive deep and work with the idea that the staircase is a flowing waterfall, ending in the first floor where we can find a sustainability oasis, a concrete bridge meant to symbolise the coming into the new era.
